We joined in the celebrations with our little stall full of goodies prepared by members. Lots of chats about community and environment.
We could have 50 litres of mulled juice as it was so popular, cakes and cookies did well, books and seeds are going to help people grow their own and we made some contacts at a local care home which runs its own allotment with 100 year old gardeners and some people involved with the Haven’s Hospice therapeutic gardening course. Jerusalem artichoke found some fans as we popularise this root veg locally 😀
It was fantastic to see Trust Links network develop and so many residents.for example:
