‘After posting something on FB I was contacted by the organiser of a symposium called ‘Deconstructing neoliberal hegemony’ which sounded just up my street! My family get a bit fed up with me going on about ‘neoliberal hegemony’ so I welcomed the chance to spend a couple of days with others who are interested in it. I feel a tad apprehensive because they are mainly international academics but go I must! http://realdemocracymovement.org/ifi-2018-invitation-copenhagen-deconstructing-neoliberal-hegemony/
Then, browsing what to do in Copenhagen I came across the Christiana alternative community. https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/culture/alternative-christiania. Something else worth visiting I reckon.
I’m going on Sunday 10th June and returning Wed 13th June. The symposium is Mon/Tues. I’m flying (sorry!) from Stansted – return flight about £80
Have booked an airbnb in central Copenhagen
The symposium is free – they ask for a donation
Be great if anyone feels the urge to go and can afford it. Total cost around £250 plus food
