‘Posh Fish & Chips’ networking event for businesses
Clarence Yard in Clarence Street, Southend is hosting a business networking event on 14th May and providing ‘posh fish and chips,’ with veggie alternatives, for delegates.
The evening event is part of the Double Whammy series of Southend business networking events.
Tickets for the event are £10, which includes food and a welcome drink. £8 from each ticket sold will go to a ‘charity pot’ to support two local good causes: Southend Hospital Charity For Wards Appeal; and N-Act, a local theatre group that users the power of stage play and interaction to inform and educate young people about important issues such as social media usage and gang culture.
Jill Poet, CEO of BSTLC CIC which organises these events, stressed: “We welcome business people to join us at DW Networking events as we find business networking in a relaxed, more social atmosphere works really well. And, of course, our events also raise money for local good causes through ticket sales. We’ve raised over £9,000 to date. But these are quality business networking events and we will not be holding any raffles on auctions on the day.”
