How healthy is your organisation?
- Not sure if your policies and procedures are up to date?
- Has your organisation recently grown or shrunk?
- Ambitious about the future but want your organisation to be ready?
- Just taken on your first paid staff, volunteers or other contracts?
- Concerned about secure funding and needing to be ready to make funding applications?
If you answered yes to the above then get in touch with SAVS to arrange a health check in the coming months. It can be adapted no matter the size of your organisation… new, established or with decades of experience. Our health check is offered as part of our funding and development advice, and will run through the following areas;
Organisation structure
How you work with and engage service users
Safety and Safeguarding
Equality and Diversity
Leadership and Management
Governance and Management Committee
Outcomes and Impact / Monitoring and evaluation
Working with partners / Employment law and Insurance
Policies and procedures
Strategic direction and planning
Finances and Fundraising / Resources and Information Technology
Volunteers
Training and development
Communications: Publicity and Marketing
In a 1-2 hour session we can run through all these points with you and/or your team or just particular areas where you have concerns. The aim is to generate an action plan for how to improve in the areas where support might be needed – all information will be confidential – we will used it confidentially to shape our future training programme and support that we deliver to members.
