  1. The event sounds really interesting and potentially very helpful to many of us who are feeling pretty stressed in our crazy world but I’m wondering whether TT has any way of ‘vetting’ events like this which are posted on the website. My experience has been that there are many, many people and products which are cashing in very nicely on the strress which seems to have become a bit of an epidemic (not surprisingly!).Can anyone post on the TT website? Perhaps just a reminder that ‘the inclusion of this event on the website doesn’t mean it is endorsed by TT?’ or something like that? I’ve no reason to believe that this will be anything than a great day – from his pic Sandy looks like a very nice man and his internet profile is very impressive – but I’d be interested to hear what others think on the general principle of what goes on the TT website.

    • Hi Eileen, have a go if you have some time and see what you think.

I have been to Sandy’s talk in Southend and found it practical and beneficial. His works is about meditation and mindfulness which research showed to have positive effects on well being.

At the moment the core team of Southend in Transition post on the website events and news which seem to us to showcase mainly local efforts at inner and outer transition but are unable to attend all events and projects. If someone has doubts about any posts please comment and we can have a discussion.
