A range speakers, who are “activists” within their everyday work, will engage with this question. From a progressive eco-artist, a risk-taking CEO within Wave Power, a passionate low-carbon county council officer, a Green Human Resource Manager, a green party politician and representatives from various green activist NGOs.

Fruits of our Labour: Work, labour and the
political economy of our food system
The Future of our Food is a major new seminar series funded by the UK Economic and Social Sciences Research Council. It will bring people together to jointly explore emerging challenges in agriculture and food in the UK and globally. Each seminar will explore themes of resilience, sustainability, nutritional security, public health, well-being and justice in the food system.
