Meeting Healing Herbs – Meeting Yourself

A wide variety of medicinal herbs are grown in the walled garden making Cressing Temple an ideal place to explore medicinal healing herbs. In this seminar we will look at some common herbs and will explore the role herbal healing in our lives. We will be reflecting on herbalism and plants as means of promoting well-being and deepening and connecting to our inner self as a part of All-living Nature.

- Why to use herbs
- How and When to use herbs
- When not to use them.
We will learn to safely recognize a selection of common of herbs.
Learn how to sustainably harvest and source herbs and how to prepare simple medicinal herbal products for common ailments . No prior experience necessary bring only open heart and mind.
Your tutor for the day will be Monika Curry, a qualified, practising medical herbalist, passionate about plants and natural health.
Drinks will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch.
