Hi folks, I’ve spent some time today talking to Chay and Jules EpicQuest Southend about the EpicQuest education project see http://epicquest.co.uk/ They have invited me to run some Permaculture Design Skills workshops to help think about ideas for their new centre in Wallis Ave, Southend on Sea.
I’m proposing running 2 (maybe more) weekend workshops in September and October which will provide a basic grounding in Permaculture Ethics, Principles and Design Skills, facilitated by an experienced permaculture designer (me!), with a focus on creating ’emergent’ design ideas for the project by pooling our collective skills, creativity and expertise to come up with realistic and workable design proposals.
Focus will be on generating ideas for the building, as well as garden and growing areas and ‘wild’ spaces around the grounds.
Participation will be donation to help cover my time and facilitation (suggest £10 – £30 quid for each 2 days workshop depending on what you can afford/think reasonable).
No previous knowledge of Permaculture is necessary, this would however be an excellent opportunity for those who have previously done a Permaculture Course (eg, a Permaculture Introductory Course or full 72 Hour Permaculture Design Course, or working towards their Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design) to revise and brush up their design skills, or produce work for their design portfolio.
Who would be interested in participating?
Please PM me or email me via the contact page on my web site to register interest http://spiralseed.co.uk/contact/
