The first meeting to test the idea of Southend Energy took place last Thursday 27/02/2014 in the Olde Trout
Southend Energy so far is a spark in the eye of a group of people who are having a vision for an Energy Autonomous Southend-on-Sea. A Southend-on-Sea where energy conservation schemes and renewable energy generation projects have resulted in all Southend’s residents’, buildings’ and businesses’ energy needs being meet locally which increase local resilience against impacts of volatile global energy markets and which support a thriving economy.
Get on board and get in touch. Next networking meeting at Forum library after the East of England Low Carbon conference at 18:00.
Initially the group hopes to organise meetings to learn about energy conservation and generation and start projects locally.
