Chris and Rosie will be hosting another open weekend at their Eco house at 193 Burrs Road, Clacton.
Rosie and Chris’s home is a designated LAND Permaculture demonstration project by the UK Permaculture Association. Visitors can see examples of solar electricity and water heating panels in action, wood fired cooking and central heating and a reed bed recycling our ’grey’ water. Chris and Rosie provide more than 50% of the food they eat from their garden and are happy to share their growing techniques. They are also able to talk to people about recycling, keeping chickens and bees. Entry is free.
The house if open from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September
