The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it’s
time to get cycling!

Wednesday 21^st July, 7pm –
The Southend Circle,
Back in the Saddle ride leaving from Uncle Tom’s and using Southend’s
cycle routes

And we also have a couple family friendly events coming up
that may be to your liking.

18^th July, Community Sports
Festival – Your chance to have a 45 minute taster
session in mountain biking, trials riding, and Go Ride.  Make sure you
sign up before hand by contacting Kevin Read on 01702 215 612 or at kevinread@southend.gov.uk.

24-25 July, Summer Days – a London
2012 Open Weekend – Another chance to try out
Go Ride, the North
Shore mtb track and watch
the Bike Crew perform.  We’ll also be giving you the opportunity to
race with Rollapaluzza and play some bike polo. 

I’ll be embarking on the first stage of The Great
Tour (www.thegreattour.org) this
Saturday – if you would like to follow my progress you can go onto www.cyclesouthend.co.uk to check out
the blog and I’ll be coming through Southend Friday 9^th July
at noon, please come and join me as we ride along the seafront and stop for
lunch at the Pier.
