SBC Appreciative Inquiry Network meeting

SBC AI Network meeting, Wednesday 14 April, 9: 00 – 12: 00

Committee Room 10, Civic Centre , Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6ER

You are invited to the next meeting of the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council Appreciative Inquiry Network.   This is for people that have attended AI training and anyone interested in learning about strength-based approaches to change.

In a nutshell, AI is: “a technique, a method, a philosophy that uses you and your organisation’s strengths to build a desired future.  It brings together all those with an interest in making things happen; recognising that all of us are smarter than one of us.”

These meetings are about:

  • refreshing and  deepening your knowledge of appreciative inquiry
  • discussing and debating methods for working in partnership to bring about change
  • sharing good practice
  • getting ideas about applying AI in your work
  • meeting colleagues and partners and exploring opportunities to work together

The theme for April’s meeting is Collaboration for Transformation.

Tea/coffee, juice and biscuits will be available.

You are welcome to attend whether or not you have attended AI training. Partner organisations are very welcome too. To book your place (places are free, but limited) please email SherryFuller@southend.gov.uk or phone 01702 215790.

Please forward this invitation to anyone else that might wish to attend.

Kind regards,

Sherry Fuller
