Southend Credit Union 3rd Birthday

Southend’s own financial co-operative , Southend Credit Union celebrated its third birthday on Saturday with credit union members and deputy Mayor Cllr Anne Holland who cut the beautiful strawberry and white chocolate confection made by Petite Patisserie.

Working with Transition Town Westcliff the cartoon ‘Money as debt’ entertained and shocked the audience.

The film is now available for any groups who would like to find out just how our monetary system works.
